French President Hollande Alludes to Illuminati Involvement in French Terror Attacks

During a nationally televised address on January the 9th, French president Francois Hollande made a strange remark that appears to allude to the involvement of the Illuminati (in French-Les Illumines)  or the Dark Elite in the wave of terror attacks that have seen seventeen police and civilians killed in France over the past week.

I managed to find two articles that quote Hollande’s speech directly.

They paraphrase rather than directly quoting the whole text hence the slightly different outcome, but essentially, neither version makes any sense if he is merely describing an attack by jihadist terrorists .
After all, why on earth would the French president refer to men responsible for these hideous crimes as being “enlightened”? How could that be? There is clearly nothing “enlightened” at all about conducting a massacre at a satirical magazine or a Kosher Supermarket is there?

So that makes absolutely no sense if he is describing thugs who represent al Qaeda’s Yemen branch and the (un)slamic State group.
After all, few Westerners would associate Yemen with enlightenment, much less their local al CIAda franchise. No-one, no-one at all in the West sees the IS group as being “enlightened or “illuminated’. The exact opposite is the case. The French president is surely referring to another party entirely.
The second version,based on the exact text of Hollande’s speech  would appear to be the more accurate of the two.

I wonder who on earth he could possibly be referring to?
